Arcus I-II-III

A compilation of Wolf Team's first three Arcus RPGs with improved graphics and new intro FMVs. It was exclusive to the Japanese Mega CD.

Overview

Arcus I-II-III is a compilation of the first three Arcus RPGs developed by Wolf Team, first released on Japanese home computers between 1988 and 1991. As well as some 16-bit remaster work, the compilation also includes opening animations accompanied by CD audio songs. The games were all "standardized" to resemble one another: originally, Arcus II used a different top-down perspective compared to the first-person dungeon-crawler style employed by the first and third Arcus, but this compilation has all three follow the first-person route.

This compilation was exclusive to the Japanese Mega CD, and followed the 1991 launch of the series' fourth game, Arcus Odyssey, which was originally released on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.
