Streets of Fury

Overview

Streets of Fury is an Xbox Live indie game that was released shortly after the program's launch. The gameplay is similar to Final Fight or Streets of Rage in which players move along a side-scrolling stage beating people up. The game's main draw comes from its digitized sprites, which emulate the style of early '90s games like Way of the Warrior and Kasumi Ninja.

In late 2013, developer Cyrille Lagarigue began work on porting the game with enhancements to various platforms. That version was released on Steam June 25, 2015 as Streets of Fury EX.
