Spy Hunter II

The arcade sequel to Spy Hunter. It appeared in arcades and is simultaneously playable by two players.

Overview

Spy Hunter II is the arcade sequel to the original Spy Hunter. Lacking involvement by Spy Hunter creator George Gomez, the game was critically panned. It featured a 3/4 perspective and retained the basic premise of Spy Hunter; shooting enemy vehicles, special weapons, and boat stages. Additionally, the arcade cabinet had a co-operative mode which used a single display, split in two by a bezel, and two sets of controls. The game never found wide release due to its poor reception.
