Hellraid

Overview

Hellraid is an upcoming first-person melee-focussed action game for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.

Development

Hellraid originated as a mode designed for Techland's other game, Dead Island. However, on April 29th, 2013, in a press release it was announced it would be an individual game. Hellraid features randomly generated content, as well as cooperative and single player modes.

On April 1st, 2014, it was announced that another developer, Shortbreak Studios, was developing a mobile game based on the world of Hellraid, called Hellraid: The Escape.

Announced via a developer post, the game was officially put on hold.
