Overview

Neon Struct is a lo-fi cyberpunk stealth game from Minor Key Games. As Jillian Cleary, former spy for The Agency, you must work to clear your name of treason.

Gameplay

Neon Struct's gameplay is inspired by classic PC stealth games like Thief and Deus Ex. The player is tasked with such objectives as planting bugs and gathering intelligence.

Agent Cleary is equipped with a device called the HUDSON (Heads-Up Display and Surveillance Operations Network). The HUDSON displays Cleary's illumination level and the state of awareness of NPCs. Agent Cleary also has access to various gadgets, such as the BIT (Break-In Tool) which can used used to hack doors, containers, and security systems. The hacking is executed through a Breakout style mini-game. In addition to gadgets the player is able to perform takedowns on NPCs and can move bodies to avoid detection. On every level there are hidden geocaches the the player can find to gain tokens. The tokens are coins that can be thrown to distract NPCs.

At the end of each mission the player is graded based on five factors:

  • Bodies found
  • Takedowns
  • Alarms
  • Detection
  • Geocaches signed
