In an alternate, the Soviet Union is at its apex of power when its government dispatches you to investigate its supremely secretive Facility No 3826. It is imperative that you recover the artifact that Dr. Stockhausen was experimenting with there: the Atomic Heart. Since all contact with the facility was lost, rumors have begun to creep out, warning of horrific abominations gone amok, some biological, some machine, and some unknowable.
Controversy
The game's release date coincided with the first year anniversary of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine and Defender of the Fatherland Day.
