Quiz Scramble Special is a trivia quiz game exclusive to the Sega CD, which was developed and published by Sega directly. Players take on multiple choice questions on a variety of subjects, typically requiring a quota of correct answers to move onto the next round. Too many wrong answers will lead a game over, at which point the player will need to spend a credit to continue. Two players can also compete with each other, quickly being the first to answer the questions correctly.
The loose framing story is that a mad scientist's house is unmoored from its current location due to a technical mishap and the player character has to answer quizzes hosted by animals to gain enough energy to restore the house's ability to transport itself.
The original Quiz Scramble was included in the WonderMega Collection, released a few months prior.
