Minesweeper

An unofficial adaptation of the Windows game of the same name, developed by Arc for the Game Boy and PC Engine CD-ROM². It adds new game modes, such as a mission mode, two-player multiplayer (GB version), and adventure mode (PCE version).

Overview

Minesweeper (not to be confused with the 1990 game of the same name) is a puzzle game developed Arc and published by Pack-In-Video for the Game Boy (on December 13, 1991) and PC Engine CD-ROM² System (on March 20, 1991), both exclusively in Japan.

An unofficial adaptation of the 1990 Windows game of the same name, Minesweeper is unique for its inclusion of multiple modes (including a mission-based mode). Unlike the original version, where mine placement is random, all puzzles in this game are fixed from the start and players can create their own playfield for others.
