Wild Arms 5 is the fifth installment of Media Vision's long running western-themed RPG franchise that was originally released in Japan for the PlayStation 2 by Sony Interactive on December 6, 2006 and later published by XSEED in North America on August 28, 2007. The game is a celebratory title for Wild Arms, highlighting the franchise's 10th anniversary since the series began on the PlayStation in 1996.
