Overview

King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella is a 1988 text-based adventure game from Sierra On-line, and the fourth instalment of Roberta Williams' King's Quest series. It was the first King's Quest game to support the use of a mouse and sound cards. Despite mouse support, the game continued to employ the parser interface for gameplay.

Story

King Graham is dying after a sudden heart attack. His daughter, Rosella, is contacted by a good fairy called Genesta who tells her that there is a cure. Genesta teleports Rosella to another land called Tamir where she finds out that the cure is a magical fruit. However, Genesta can't send Rosella back to her own country because an evil fairy, Lolotte, has stolen Genestas' talisman that gives her magical power. Rosella has to return the talisman to Genesta to be able to return back to Daventry in time to save her father.
