Road Redemption

Road Redemption is a Kickstarter-funded spiritual sequel to Road Rash. Motorcycle-combat-racing for a new generation.

Overview

Successfully funded on Kickstarter in May of 2013, Road Redemption is a procedurally-generated vehicular combat game that pays homage to the Genesis classic Road Rash. It was released on Steam Early Access on September 18, 2014.

Players take up the role of a member of a motorcycle gang in a post-apocalyptic world. Every biker in the country is racing to catch a mysterious assassin who has a 15 million dollar bounty on his head. The player and his fellow gang members must drive across the country through the heart of enemy territory in order to chase down the assassin and claim the prize.

Development

Development of the originally announced PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game were officially canceled in June 2016 while the Wii U version is currently being evaluated with regard to the impending announcement and release of the NX successor platform from Nintendo.
