Verdun

Inspired by the bloody Battle of Verdun that took place in 1916 between German and French forces, Verdun is a squad-based multiplayer shooter set in World War I.

Overview

Verdun is a multiplayer first person shooter set during World War I that aims to convey the intensity of trench warfare. The maps are based on historical locations around the city of Verdun in north-eastern France. The game was released on Steam April 28th, 2015 for PC, Mac and Linux.

Game modes

The game features multiplayer gameplay only.

Frontlines

Frontlines is an objective based game mode fully geared towards the WW1 theme. Every map has 3 or 4 trench lines for each side with nomansland in between every two trench lines. Every side will take turns in attacking and defending. If a attack succeeds the battles continues from there, making this a tug of war which only ends if all trench lines are captured by one side or until the level timer ends.

Rifle Death Match (RDM)

RDM is a FFA game mode where only rifles are used. The maps are smaller as is the maximum player count per match.
