Phageborn Online Card Game is developed and published by Games Revolted, an indie game studio hailing from Zagreb, Croatia. The game will be released for PC and Mac through Steam and will be entering Early Access on the 30th of January, 2020.
Phageborn will be employing a buy-to-play monetization model and will not contain gameplay-altering microtransactions and lootboxes. Each player will be able to unlock every card and Avatar purely by playing the game. Only vanity items such as special skin sets for Avatars, card foilers, etc.
The game will be supported post-launch with free updates and paid expansions. The game will also have a deep singleplayer campaign where the player will be able to delve deeper into the lore of Phageborn, which, when released, will be free for all players who initially bought Phageborn.
Phageborn will feature a multitude of game modes and ways to play and one of the most exciting ones is the 2v2 mode where the strategic element of Phageborn reaches its full potential.
