Tenka Fubu: Eiyuutachi no Houkou

A Sengoku era strategy game released exclusively on the Japanese Mega-CD. One of the earliest Sega CD games to use FMV footage.

Overview

Tenka Fubu: Eiyuutachi no Houkou ("Rule the World Through Warfare: Roar of the Heroes") is a Sengoku era strategy sim released by Game Arts exclusively for the Sega CD. Like many games of its type, the player selects a scenario (each set in a different year of the Sengoku period) and a daimyo and tries to unify Japan through conflict with neighboring states.

An early CD-ROM title, it features voice acting and an FMV intro consisting of Sengoku-era war re-enactments. The game was later remade, or remastered, as Sengoku no Hasha for the Super Famicom in 1995. This version added more features and a new scenario, but lacks the CD-specific presentation.
