Voodoo Vince

A colorful platformer where you hurt yourself to hurt others.

Overview

Voodoo Vince is a platforming game and the brainchild of Clayton Kauzlaric. It was developed by Beep Industries and published by Microsoft Game Studios exclusively on the Xbox. The game was released in North America on September 23rd 2003, October 17th 2003 in Europe and July 22nd, 2004 in Japan.

The game is notable for being Phil Spencer’s favorite game that he’s worked on while being employed at Microsoft due to the memories he has surrounding the game and that it was the first game he and his daughters finished:

"But to me it's really about the memories that are created and the fun that you had when you play games. And I'll always remember Voodoo Vince and finishing it with my daughters."
