G-O-D: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ga Kikoe

When Gen mysteriously teleports to the year 2009, he must work together with the survivors of an alien invasion to both save the world and return to his own time.

Overview

G-O-D: Mezameyo to Yobu Koe ga Kikoe ("G-O-D: Heed the Call to Awaken", with G-O-D being an acronym for "Growth or Devolution") is a time-travelling/post-apocalyptic RPG inspired in part by other SNES RPGs like EarthBound and Chrono Trigger.

The protagonist Gen (though the player can name them whatever they want) accidentally travels ten years forward in time from 1999 to 2009 to discover a massive calamity has destroyed his home town and threatens the human race. He works together with the survivors to save what's left, as well as find his way home and potentially find a way to stop the calamity from happening. The combat follows the standard turn-based structure of many other JRPGs.
