PCGame Dev Story 2 is the sequel to the highly praised Game Dev Story from developer Kairosoft. It is a game company simulation game for PC. Several improvements have been made over the original. In addition to being able to hire personnel as before, you can now bid and negotiate a salary for new employees. Additionally, part of your development expenses goes towards purchasing equipment to work on.

As of November 30th 2010, Kairosoft has confirmed that Game Dev Story 2 will be developed and translated into English and ported to iOS and Android. No further information about a possible release date was given, as Kairosoft only ruled out a "soon" release.
