Savaki

A Japan-only 3D fighting game for the Saturn that focuses on mixed martial arts fighting.

Overview

Savaki is a 3D fighting game developed by Cynus and published by Micro Cabin for the Sega Saturn exclusively in Japan on April 16, 1998.

A simple fighting game of the era, Savaki puts players in control of a generic unnamed practitioner of one of seven different martial arts styles as they fight others in a mixed martial arts setting. The game is known for it's dedicated attack feint buttons and a special "Savaki" button.

Fighters

The game includes seven fighting styles, with two generic unnamed practitioners for each style (one for each player).

After fighting fighters from all seven styles, players then fight a stronger Free Style practitioner as the final boss.
