Crafting & Resources
Resources can be gathered via farming your own fields, mining, and dungeon raids. These resources can then be used to craft a variety of items, such as weaponry, armor, and potions.
No classes
Following in the footsteps of MMORPGs like Ultima Online and Runescape, LinkRealms does not contain character classes. You can skill up in both weaponry and magic, be a heavily armored spellcaster/miner or lightly armored fighter that dabbles in alchemy.
Housing
Linkrealms is divided into numerous realms. These can be claimed and then used to build a variety of homes - such as fortified castles, fields for faming, training areas for pets, etc. These realms can be invaded by enemies, who then have to deal with a variety of defenses - from switches, doors, and teleporters to traps and monster spawners.
PvE & PvP
There are both PvP and PvE focused servers - and with open dungeons, it might be a good idea to keep an eye out for enterprising thieves out to snipe a raiding party during boss fights. Even the PvE servers contain an element of PvP, with corpse looting and PvP enabled in a number of dungeons and some areas of the world.
