Savior

An adventure game released by Enix that was known for its large number of animations for the time.

Overview

Savior (セイバー) is an adventure game released by Enix in October 1985 which marketed itself as: "The birth of a perfect animation adventure!" The game was created by a group of three high school students that called themselves "Muscat" and featured very smooth animations for its time as well as quick load times with advertisements boasting that Savior had a drawing speed of "0.075 seconds." All of this was made possible thanks to Savior being developed for the 16-bit PC-98 during a time when most titles were still being made for 8-bit computers.
