Back Street Soccer

An 1996 arcade soccer game by Korean developer SunA.

Overview

Back Street Soccer is a belt-scrolling soccer game developed by SunA and released by both SunA and Unico for arcades in 1996.

Borrowing heavily from the 1994 Data East game Street Slam, Back Street Soccer includes a simplified 5v5 version of soccer (based on street soccer) with less rules and a smaller walled field. It is a three-button game and supports four-player multiplayer (1v1, 2v1, or 2v2).

The game's music includes bootleg re-recordings of the songs We Are The Champ and Boom! Shake the Room.
