Athena

Overview

Unknown in the west, Athena is an arcade game developed by SNK in 1986. The NES port was considered extremely difficult; the game is something of a cult classic in Japan. After this title not much was heard from Athena until 14 years later when she started to appear in various SNK fighting titles, such as SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom and Neo Geo Battle Coliseum.
